Cimanggis, November 11, 2025 In an effort to strengthen a culture of safety and preparedness in the workplace, PT Tristar Transindo, a halal logistics company under the Wahana Artha Group (WAG), conducted a fire drill at its Cimanggis Pool facility. This activity serves as tangible proof of the company’s commitment to ensuring that every employee understands and is able to respond quickly to emergency situations.

The fire drill is part of the company’s routine agenda focused on raising workplace safety awareness. Through this training, all employees are trained to handle potential fire incidents with the appropriate steps in accordance with emergency response procedures. This simulation also serves as a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of the internal safety systems in place.

PT Tristar Transindo recognizes that success in halal logistics services is measured not only by efficiency and on-time delivery but also by the ability to maintain safety throughout the entire process. Therefore, conducting fire drills is an integral part of the Company’s strategy to create a safe and risk-free work environment for all employees and Company assets.

During this activity, all participants followed instructions from the HSE team and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) with discipline. The drill began with an evacuation exercise to a safe assembly point, followed by a fire extinguishing practice using portable fire extinguishers (APAR). Through hands-on practice, employees gained concrete experience in handling emergency situations and built confidence to act quickly and appropriately should a similar incident occur in the future.

A fire drill is not merely a formal exercise but a tangible expression of our shared responsibility to protect ourselves, our coworkers, and the Company’s assets. We want to ensure that a ‘Safety First’ culture is ingrained in all employees,” said Parsaulian Ringo Ringo, Head of HSE at PT Tristar Transindo.

In addition to strengthening internal preparedness, this activity serves as an educational tool to remind everyone of the importance of early detection and preventive measures against potential hazards. The HSE Division ensures that every participant understands the procedures for using fire extinguishers, how to identify fire-prone areas, and the mitigation steps that must be taken before a situation escalates. This approach is expected to foster a collective awareness of the importance of workplace safety.
